Sometimes when we hear God’s call on our lives, we think it is selfish to pursue it because we believe it will distract us from caring for those He has put in our care. But test this thought against God’s character! He is all knowing, exceedingly detail oriented (he made the smallest bugs!), and He is for you and those under your care. He will take you off the well-beaten path to put you on the path most fulfilling, and He will not forget those in your charge in the process. I am praying for you all today, that God would show you provision in your journey, both for you and your sons and daughters in Him.
In His name,
Exodus 3:21-22 (NIV):
21 “And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed. 22 Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians.”
